Thanksgiving 2007

We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. Our best friends Skip, Allison and their children came. We also had Nolan and his brother Nathan. We had lots of food, played some football and watched the cowboys Win!!!! It was a really pleasant day. We are so grateful for all the blessing we have in our lives.

Tiff's teeth

Tiff got all 4 of her wisdom teeth pulled. She did fairly well. One side swelled up a little and hurt awhile longer than the other. Here are a couple pictures that I'm sure she will be happy for me to share.
This post turned out weird. At this point I don't know if my pictures will show up. If they do, they are of Tiff and Nathan goofing off. The one with Nathan in the grocery bag....I don't know!?! I just found him in the playroom that way and thought it was funny. Ya know, pull out the camera, it's picture time!! Good material for the girlfriend when he grows up.

Trunk or Treat

Nathan's costume

Ok, Nathan decides he wants to be "Link" from The Legend of Zelda, for Halloween. Go figure, thats all he ever does. Videos all day. I go out to Target and Wal-Mart, trying to find a already made costume. Of course, no luck. Then I try the special Halloween stores, no luck. So I try the next best thing, the internet. Sure enough they have several ideas on how to make this costume. So I got out the old sewing machine and got to work. I think I did a pretty great job. I made the sheild and painted a sword that I got at Wal-mart, to match the get up. I also made the arm bands and the boot covers. It was fun to make and he absolutley loves it. He likes to dress up as his animated characters so is still wearing it every few days. Well worth my time and effort. Look he even has green (supposed to be yellow) hair and pointy elf ears!!!

Yuk....Pumpkin Guts!!!!!

Well, Tiffany and Nathan wanted to carve pumpkins,so first I took Nathan, Maggie and Boot out to the farmer
"s market to pick the pumkins out. This was a very cold, wet experience. I forgot my camera. Took a few pictures with my cell phone but I don't know how to put them on here!?! Next we went home and started the adventure. What a mess.. I don't like pumpkin guts!!! NASTY!!!! Well we had a couple of very fun, noisey hours but I think the pumpkins turned out really cool. I think next year I will limit the friends to one. We are getting too old for this much excitement. Ha Ha!

Celebration Station

We went to Celebration Station one night when Matt was here. We played in the game room and then a round of putt putt. Fun time. So glad Matt came to visit.

Matt's visit again

We also went to a place called mile high bridge. I walked across it. I can't believe how brave I'm getting in my old age. It was pretty cool.

Matt's visit

Matt camt to visit for a week. We had such a great time. One day Tiff was off work so Phil took off and we kept Nathan out of school. We took a trip to Grand father mountain up by Boone. It was so beautiful. The perfect time for the color change. It was a fun day.

Flowers and kitten

See my pretty flowers? Phil brought them for my birthday. He gave them to me a couple days early cuz he was really busy at work. Early is better than late, right? I'm really grateful to have such a loving and kind husband. Love ya Phil!!!! On my birthday I caught Flossie all cuddled up with the scarecrow. Is'nt that just sweet?

A visit to the hospital

A few weeks back Nathan was up complaining about his stomach hurting. It kept him up all night. Phil gave him a blessing and he was able to sleep for a little while but it came back by morning. We took him to the dr. and she thought that it was appendicitis and sent to have test done at the hospital. They admitted him and he and I spent the night. The pain went away and they really don't know what was wrong. Here are few pictures of our stay. Of course we had to go to the toy store and get him a gift to play with. Good ole legos. We are greatful that the pain subsided and believe it had to do with the blessing. We sure love this,
" little big guy"

A new truck to pull Sisquo

This is Tiffany's new truck. She got it a couple weeks ago. She bought it from some friends of ours. It is very nice and has been very well taken care of. We do believe that she got a great deal. We have known the people since they bought it brand new. Steve works with Phil and has made the moves from WA to Pa and then to here with us. She will get to start driving it tomorrow we hope. We have been waiting for the title to arrive from WA. She can't wait. Go Tiff!!!! After we get the trailor done she will be able to take Sisquo wherever she wants.

Alright Nathan!!

We are so pleased to announce that Nathan, yes "Our Nathan", recieved the superstar of the month award for the month of September on being a Wonderful citizen. Read what the teacher wrote. It is a very nice compliment to Nathan. He is doing such a great job this year!!!! We are so happy for his progress and he has also noticed how happy it makes him and everyone else around. Woo Hoos for Nathan!
